Carbunckle Australian Cattle Dog Adult Female in East Selah, Washington

My story
Meet Carbunckle, a 3-year-old female Blue Heeler.Carbunckle and her sister were surrendered to the adoption center due to the family's change in lifestyle. They are both very beautiful dogs and will make great companion pets.

Carbunckle and Nova will sit for treats and love attention.

Carbunckle does pull on her leash some and may be more comfortable in a harness. Please do your breed research before applying to adopt Carbunckle. Australian Cattle Dogs and other herding breed mixes are special breeds of dogs with special requirements. These dogs were bred to have a job, and without the right activity level/purpose they won't flourish and that can lead to issues down the road. These dogs are incredibly smart and need to be challenged both physically and mentally to really be happy. Even though each dog is unique and individual, don't forget, they were bred to herd things and can at times be mouthy and/or nippy. Australian Cattle Dogs are a fun, active breed that many have fallen in love with over the years, but please keep their breed needs in mind if you are considering to add one to your household. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at

A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Carbunckle, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
